Blueprint Schools Program

Prince George’s County Public Schools utilizes a Public Private Partnership (P3) design, build, finance, and maintenance model to deliver six new public schools by 2023. PGCPS is the first jurisdiction in the nation to utilize this P3 method to bundle the construction and maintenance of a group of public schools. The unique partnership yields six buildings: five new middle schools and one K-8 academy totaling 8,000+ seats. Hover over the schools below for more information.

Project Details

We recently held our eighth CBB/CBSB/MBE Matchmaking Session in conjunction with MWMCA. The matchmaking event was geared towards matching up firms that are not planning to bid on our upcoming contact opportunities for landscaping, turf fielding,
fencing, flag poles, concrete and paving as prime and subcontractors. Learn about our plan and approach for building 6 new schools in Prince George’s County, as well as, our CBB/MBE requirements and contracting opportunities within the project.
