PGCECP Hosts Over 275 Suppliers At Our CBB/CBSB/MBE Business Opportunities Outreach Event

Prince George’s County Education & Community Partners (PGCECP) in conjunction with the Prince George’s County Office of Central Services Supplier Diversity and Development Division (SDDD), recently held a project briefing with interested local and minority businesses regarding our upcoming Alternative Construction Finance program (ACF) for school construction in Prince George’s County (PGC).

Over 275 businesses participated and met with project and procurement representatives from Stantec, Gilbane Building Company and Honeywell and learned about the project overview and schedule. They also learned about the project’s MBE/CBB retirements, upcoming procurement opportunities within the project, as well as, received an overview of the prequalification process.

After the overview, participants participated in the Design-Build and Maintenance break out sessions and the question and answer session.
